So what does this life of joy look like? There are an array of elements to choose from to make oneself feel more happiness and well being. Here are some that work well for me:
A Few Daily Practices
- daily journaling, including gratitude journal
- creative expression — art & writing
- connection in community and with Nature
- acceptance and being okay with what is
- an anti-inflammatory diet chock full of goodness in nutrition, like apple cider vinegar tonic
- working on my life legacy
All of this leads to a greater sense of empowerment and ease, of joyful delight in the simplest pleasures like the breath, a smile, the beauty of a flower in bloom. You know exactly what I’m talking about, right?
